The group well rested and ready for adventure headed toward the location revealed on the map. They were still trying to find out why it had originally be altered. Finally they came to a clearing in the woods, In the exact location of where the map had been magically altered. Near the center of a clearing was an arranged set of stones. Terious was at the lead of the group, and decided to investigate. Everyone followed.
Upon reaching the stones...a trap was sprung which caused the ground to cower into a slope...It had little impact however as everyone was able to back out of the way before falling. Once the dust had diminished, several Goblinoid creatures stood staring up at the group with grimaces of hatred.
The group was able to defeat these goblins by using several abilities they knew wouldn't possible again that day. Rimeron used his fox like acrobatics to jump over a goblin and aimed his bow at what appeared to be the leader. Terious and Draconus along with two other goblins were covered in a smog like substance for a while, both mace and scimitar swung in opposition. Terious did spring another trap leaving him prone in a pit of wolves. However, he was able to defend them off. Axio teleported behind Rimeron to cover him from an opposing Goblin. With a fiery blade he managed to take the Goblin down. Nixxa managed to inflict much pain with her bow. Starfire attacked several of the enemies but truly helped when she moved Terious out of the pit with her Pixie dust. Pern healed the group several times throughout the battle, giving courage to everyone.
The leader tried to escape once defeat was eminent, going through a side door that the adventurers forgot about. Once inside, Rimeron was able to follow and sent one final arrow to end his life. The group managed to travel far enough into the hallway to see a room with zombies. Axio threw a Javelin at one of them..but then two came out of the room ready to attack.
