Forgotten Realms Date: 1479 DR, The 16th day of Ches
Taking a couple of jobs from the message board..the adventurers set off looking for something beneficial to occupy their time. The first job they considered doing was helping a man dig up his grandfathers grave to go scrounging for treasure. There were hopes of killing undead fiends which set the group in high spirits..especially the cleric. However, Rimeron asked the question whether this was a morally good idea. He asked a guard if it was illegal to dig up a grave. The guard replied if its a public graveyard then it is illegal, but if its owned by a land owner then they have no right to say what someone can or can not do with their own property.
Axio also contemplated the morale of such a task. He even went to ask a priest about the groups decision to take the job. The priest finally suggested they go and get the whole story from the person who made the request. The group then headed off to meet the owner of the message.
When they came close to the graveyard, a shady man approached them. He introduced himself as Lath. He seemed to carry himself without posture..and his morale quickly showed when the group asked if digging up his grandfather's grave was legal...his response was with a laugh.."Of course, its illegal!"
To make matters even worse, when the group asked how he thought his grandfather would feel about him digging up his grave, Lath replied, "My grandfather hated me."
Axio quickly spoke, "I don't trust this man.." The group quickly agreed and decided against helping Jalth.
