Forgotten Realms Date: 1479 DR, The 16th day of Ches
Location: Suzail
The Adventurers decided to take up another job that day. A nobleman of Suzail, named Faris Hawkin, recently was having the feeling he was being followed. He wasn't a paranoid type of person nor overly suspicious but enough evidence surrounding proved his feelings were accurate. One night he even saw what appeared to be a Red Man staring at him in the shadows of the night streets.
Convinced that Faris' story was true, the adventurers devised a plan. They asked the him to leave a local pub, appearing to be intoxicated, late during the night. When he got into a dark alley the adventurers would be waiting to come to his aid. Rimeron decided to take position on top of a rooftop. Nixxa hid in the shadows around a corner, getting cover from the darkness that surrounded her. The rest of the adventurers waited a street away until they were sure that the nobleman was in danger.
Then, several men appeared out of no where surrounding the nobleman. One of the men was red and had horns, obviously a demon. Another man shouted out, "You have met your end." And the battle began.
Rimeron took a few shots from the rooftops and hit several of the men. Nixxa came out of the shadows to make a sneak attack but missed the Red Demon. The rest of the group charged in on the enemies. Axio climbed to the rooftops on a building across from the one Rimeron perched. He then yelled to Rimeron, "I'm going to get Faris out of there."
The demon however took his best shot at the Nobleman. He hit him with a furious blow and Faris was on his knees.
After the rest of the group killed the weaker beings surrounding Faris, Axio then teleported himself where Faris has once been, but using the fabric of magic, he was also able to trade places with him through a Dimensional Warp. Faris now hid in the safety of the rooftops.
The demon and the rest of the assailants were taken down and the Faris survived.
After the battle, however, several of the adventurers decided to take some of the equipment and gold the attackers had on them. Once they had received their bounty from Faris, who was rather thankful, they headed back to the Inn. Where they began to rest.
