Voice up the stairs...

Forgotten Realms Date: Unknown
Location: Farm house - In Route to Neverwinter (Hopefully)

Suddenly, Terios runs out of the house with a large rat on his back.  The entire party sees him run into a near by forest.  

Axio, Nixxa, Rimeron, and Starfire decide to head into the house.  They figured Terios was well capable of taking care of himself.  Pern and Draconus stayed behind.  They entered a room where tons of faeces covered the ground.  Obviously Large rat faeces.  So they watched their footing as the ventured across the room.  Axio slowly opened the door leading into the main room of the house.  There Nixxa saw three other Large Rats.  Battle ensued and the three rats were killed but not before a voice came down from the floor above, 

"Who's down there?"..says a voice.

"Who wants to know?" asks Axio (who happened to be closest to the staircase).

"This is Bannar." 

"Well Bannar, did you know you have an infestation down here?"

"What you mean the nice fluffy rats?"

"Fluffy?!?"  (Battle continues)

"You know we just killed one of them." says Axio. (lots of loud whispering ensues up the stairs)

"You killed the rats?  No worries they are cheap.." 

"So what do you want?" says Bannar.

"What do you think?"

"You know we have an amry right?"

"You mean the goblins?"

"Yes the goblins"

"Yeah they are dead too.." (lots of loud whispering ensues again up the stairs)

"No worries they are cheap too.."

Then Bannar finally says "Are you with the Purple Dragons?"

Axio responds "Whats wrong with the Purple Dragons?"

"Nothing, Nothing...Nothing at all." Bannar replies nervously.

After the last seen rat was killed, Axio decided to climb the stair case.


Meanwhile, Terios had managed to escape the large rat and make his way back to the house.  Pern and Draconus saw him coming and got into position.  Terios took the higher ground on the front porch and waited for the rat.  After hitting the beast several times with many blows that roared with thunder from the Minatours axe and the arcane power from the sorcerers spellbook, the rat fell dead.
