Forgotten Realms Date: 1479 DR, The 18th day of Ches
Location: Suzail
The group accepted a quest to clear out a house filled with undead. The house had belonged to a man that had studied deep into the magical arts. When he passed away his house was inherited by his son, who unwittingly began to mess around with things he didn't understand. He had found an old box of his father's scrolls and read one out loud. Soon he had all of his deceased relatives, that were buried close by, inside his home. They were obviously incoherent and the man ran out of the house.
The group rid the house of the undead guests and found the box of scrolls. Draconus had also found an odd looking orb. He began to study it from afar and couldn't help himself..He had to touch it! So he walked over and grabbed the orb...and the next moment..he was no more...
The whole group decided to take the orb along with them (after asking the owner of the house). Axio hoped he could figure out what kind of magic the orb contained to bring his friend back...
The owner of the house gave the group the box of scrolls, with an outburst, "Good riddance!"
