And so we pick up at Neverwinter...

The group finally arrived in Neverwinter, while Axio was talking with/yelling at one of the crew men who could not locate the chest containing his daily wear Lord Neverember gave this speech:

“Welcome to Neverwinter” says the well-dressed man “I am its Lord Protector Neverember. “I have provided you with security and order here. General Sabine” the human woman next to him bows “keeps the streets safe under my command, if you have come here looking for security work he can always use help on the wall. Mayor Galt” he jesters to the dwarf who barely notices “ensures that the day to day running of the city is up to my standards. I welcome you to the city and wish you the best as you find your place here. Together we can restore Neverwinter to the Jewel of the North!” With that he turns to Captain Willow, who has prepared a rare sober moment for this occasion and the two of them depart with the dwarf in tow while General Sabine looks over the new arrivals.

The following happened while Axio was on the boat:

General Sabine calls the party to the side and asks about their mission. After some fumbling about she gets the basic jist of why they are here. She tells the group: "We have continual work on the wall if you’re interested. There is a large chasm that consistently spews out monsters.” After thinking about your current quest she says: “The House of Knowledge is the only library of lore in the city. It’s been sealed up for years, but we have some squatters staying in its upper levels that swear there is someone below caretaking it.” She also tells you “We’ve had increasing violent attacks from the Sons of Alagondar, a rebel faction that needs to be crushed.” She also suggests that if you were to kill any of them it would be considered in defense of the city. She further tells you  “We have had several reports of a large group of elves and eladrin in the forest, my men have had their plates full dealing with the matters in Neverwinter proper. Since your party is made up mostly of elves and the best armed, and honestly only, pixie I’ve ever seen, perhaps you would make good emissaries. What do you say, could you go find these elves and see what it is they want?” She warns Jasper that she is watching him, and he decides that it is time for him and his crew to continue on to Luskan. He wishes the party well and tells them that he is an old hand at the Beached Leviathan, a local inn and tavern, and that he will put in a good word for them there.

The party agrees and decides to go talk to the elves first. On the way to the elves they come across the remains of a burned out village or town. When they stop to investigate they are attacked by plant monsters. During the battle Axio catches up to them and was able to tele-swap places with Rimeron in a crucial moment giving him the ability to get the drop on one of the monsters. Unfortunately this was to Axio's detriment as he fell hitting his head resulting in unconsciousness for the rest of the battle. They meet a dwarf female afterwards that shows an interest in Guantlgrim, and seems somewhat put off when Dagrin states that he will not come and tell her if he finds any clues.

The party proceeds to the elves and after a couple of warning shots the elves yourself and the pixie are allowed to approach. Addemios Three Dawn, an Eladrin first says that you should all be executed, but after examining your party decides that you may not be a threat to the Elves. Blane, another Eladrin, refers to your party as "City Elves", and after learning Axio is a sword mage he laughs and says "I heard the mortal world had a watered down version of blade singers but I thought it was a jest". After inspecting your packs he finds a tent in the Rangers (Rimmeron's) pack and says "A Ranger with a tent? Hah, city elves. I would not be surprised to find this Mortal realm has elvish druids that are afraid of animals". To that he and most of the elves laugh. At that point an Eladrin named Merrisara Winterwhite, an Eladrin Fey Knight steps forward and asks Axio is he is Larens son, when Axio says yes she says:

“I remember your father, he was a brave soldier. He died in these very woods fighting off an attack of giants and ogres. While he was battling he was attacked from behind by a plaguechanged creature.” Blane speaks up “probably some damned soul from Helms Hold. With the way that warps spells I wouldn’t be surprised if his killer lives there still. In fact” At this point Merissara puts her hand on Blane’s shoulder he looks at her then at the expression on Axios face and looks down somewhat ashamed of himself. “He saved many lives that day” Merissara continues. One of the elf archers in the back says “Mine was one of them, I almost met my end to a Hill Giant's club when out of no where a sword came out of the woods striking it and giving me enough time to put an arrow in each eye. When I looked back I could see the blue fire between the branches. Had I known then what I know now….” He looks down lost in his thoughts.

After that she tells Axio that someone has been looting and destroying old Sharandar, taking it's magic items and destroying it's old structures. The Eladrin are back she tells him and rebuilding New Sharander and plan to bring woe to Old Sharanders defilers. She tasks the group with discovering if Neverwinter is to blame.

After showing the fey in the party (and only the fey) around the progress of New Sharandar and letting you spend the night, she gives the fey in your party rations, good elvish rations, not that human garbage Blane points out, she sends them on your way.

On their way back they head up infront of the party, eager to get to Helms Hold the party is attacked by werewolves and shifters. After the werewolves are defeated Tath and Magris, two shifter brothers, surrender. They tell you that the Grey Wolf tribe, barbarians, have made a pact with the Netherese. The shadow do not know what you are up to, but if your friends with Sharandar Elves then you are no friend of thiers. He tells the group that now that the Neterese know about them they will eventually catch up to them, it's only a matter of time.

After openly discussing the need to kill them immediately and without further discussion infront of the shifters, they decide perhaps making a run for it is in thier best interest. When you return to the party they are sweaty, arguing and covered in blood and matted hair. You hear Nixxxa say in great relief that she was glad she wouldn't be turning furry every month. Then the question is asked....where now?
